We are QWeb and
we teach students web development.

Public Tutorials

Education of different web development skills ranging from the basics of front-end (HTML/CSS) to React to backend development with Node.js.

Real World Projects

Members have the opportunity to work on real projects led by experienced members, gathered from local businesses and other school clubs to gain practical experience.

Our Development Process

After going through an extensive curriculum teaching you everything you need to know to succeed in the fall, QWeb members are sorted into teams. They are then given a real world customer to consult with throughout the entire sprint. A team member will design an eye-catching, modern website to suit the client needs and the team proceeds to develop the website. Experienced members lead development teams of members of varying abilities.

Tech We Use

We develop using the basics of HTML/CSS/JS using the framework React. If the project requires a backend, it will be developed using Node.js and MongoDB. These are what will be taught during tutorials, however, if the team is comfortable, they may choose to work with other frameworks, backend languages, and databases.
